Take Two Media was founded in 2019 by Cape Town-based videographers, Maxine February and Michelle Stemmers. This dynamic team met while working together at a reputable media agency where their creative connection was instant. At the beginning of 2022, Michelle decided to spread her wings and embark on a new journey.

Take Two Media is now solely run by Maxine, who is a firm believer in authenticity and brings that into the work she produces to create captivating content that will leave a lasting impression. Maxine has extensive experience in filming and editing a broad range of genres and has produced content for some of South Africa’s most popular lifestyle publications.


We create wedding videos that are authentic and emotive. Videos have the power to tell a unique story in

a way that is both compelling and memorable. They capture a precious moment in time and we

strive to ensure that our clients’ videos tell their love stories their way.

"I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Multimedia Production from UCT. I started a videography internship at Highbury Media in 2018 and was offered a permanent position shortly after. Having worked across numerous client accounts including Getaway, Car Magazine, Cape Town Etc, and Wedding Album magazine as well as the various Foschini Group titles, in mid-2021 I decided to spread my wings and am currently working as a full-time freelancer.


My passion for media has its roots in my early childhood, as my father was a keen amateur photographer. Having quickly grasped the intricacies of photography, I then did professional photoshoots for a few years. However, once I was introduced to video, I realized that I had found my true passion. I believe that video tells a more compelling and authentic story."
